KIDNAP VICTIM. Man Arrested for Abduction of Boy in Florida. RANSOM MONET DISCOVERED. United Press Association.—Copyright. (Received 10 a.m.) MIAMI (Floridai, June 9. Mr. J. Edgar Hoover, Chief of the United States G-men, announced that the body of live-year-old Jimmy Cash, who was kidnapped from Princeton on May 31, has been discovered in dense underbrush half a mile from the town.
The body was In an advanced stage of decomposition The ransom money, which the boy's father paid the day following the abduction, was also found, and the shoe-box in which it was delivered was discovered torn to pieces and hidden under a stone some distance away. Mr. Hoover stated that Franklin Pierce McCall, aged 21, of Princeton, was arrested. He admitted writing the ransom notes and receiving the money, but is understood not to have confessed either to kidnapping or killing the child. Hence it is believed that others may be involved, and it is reported that four more men are at present being questioned on the basis of leads from McC'all's confession.
