IMPERIAL EX-SOLDIERS
FUNDS FCR BENEFIT. SUM OF £1293 RECEIVED. The National War Funds Council in England lis* forwarded sums of £1000 and £203 for the benefit of Imperial ex-soldiers in Xew Zealand, according to an announcement made at a meeting <f the Patriotic Association yesterday. The sums will be administered by the Xew Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association, Wellington. Sir George Richardson stated that tlii* should be known by ex-Imperial men. as many of them were under the impression that they were beyond the pale, as far as grants were concerned.
