WEALTHY SCIENTIST.
OVER £2,000,000 ESTATE LEFT. (Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, September 22. The late Sir Henry Wellcome, leading British scientist and governing director of the Wellcome Foundation, worldfamous for iiis physiological, chemical and tropical researches, who died on July 25, left estate valued at £2,138,959*. Estate duty will total £968,7-54. The residue is bequeathed to charity and research.
