PUBLICISE MEAT.
British Scheme for Spending £125,000. UFTING OF QUOTAS URGED. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, September 22. The National Federation of Meat traders' Associations contemplates spending £125,000 a year in order to publicise meat throughout Britain. It is loped that Empire, in addition to British .producers, will contribute to the fund. The president, Mr. C. A. Coggan, addressing a conference, drew attention to New Zealand. Australian and Argentine meat publicity schemes and urged removal of quotas in order "to permit leavier importation for the purpose of storage owing to the danger of war.
