BISHOP AT LIGHTHOUSE.
KEEPERS CONFIRMED,
After having been hoisted by ropes forty feet from an open boat, the Bishop of Truro (Dr. Hunkin) conducted a service' in the lighthouse-keeper's living room at Round Island lighthouse, in the Scilly Islands recently. He there confirmed Principal Keeper Regan and Keeper Freethy. The bisliop does not like heights, but he did not hesitate to obey the orders of those in charge df the hoisting operations. Both he and his chaplain were hoisted the forty feet to the set-off, amid cheers from occupants of the many boats circling the rock.
