MISSIONARY LECTURE.
PRESBYTERIANS IN PUNJAB. An interesting address on the work of the New Zealand Presbyterian Church in the Punjab, India, was given to a large gathering at the Onehunga Presbyterian Hall last evening by Mr. Geo. T. Gray, of the Missionary Industrial School at Saharanpur, who is home on furlough with his wife and family. The address was illustrated by means of moving pictures. Work in the field in various districts, in the mission hospital at Jagadhri, in the schools there and at ICharar and in the industrial school .were explained by Mr. Gray, as well as scenes of native life in general and of the family life of the workers in the New Zealand and other missions.
Mr. Gray's preliminary appeal for interest in and understanding of the work, was supported in a ghort address at the close by the Rev. W. J. Fellow, who haS recently returned from home missionary service in the prairie provinces of Canada under the Presbyterian Church of that Dominion. A collection was taken towards the mission funds.
