NORTHCOTE STREETS.
The Northcote Borcwgh Council received notice at a meeting held last night that the Main Highways Board had approved subsidies on a basis of £3 for fl, of £542 for maintenance of Queen Street and Lake Road sections, and £30 for maintenance and £2133 for sealing of Onewa Road. Before the business commenced the Mayor, Mr. R. Martin, welcomed the two 1 new councillors, Messrs. C. E. A. Mcßeth and F. Ashley.
