IN CIVIL AVIATION. 1758 MACHINES: U.S. HAS 9037. (Special.—By Air Mail.) LONDON, August 29. World statistics of civil aviation issued by the Air Ministry show that Great Britain .holds fourth place with 1758 machines (166 used on regtilar air routes). The United States, with 9037 (445 on regular routes) cpmes first, and France, with 2186 (193 on regular lines) second. Germany is third, with 1809 machines (193 on regular lines). Deutsche Luft Hausa leads the civil aviation companies with 137 machines; Air France has 118, and Imperial Airways 37.. - ■"? tr -•
