SLOW TRAFFIC BAN.
MAIN LONDON STREETS. British Official Wireless. RUGBY, August 9. Efforts of the Ministry of Transport to reduce traffic congestion in central London were carried a stage further yesterday with the issue of regulations adding the Haymarket, New Oxford Street, High Holborn, Old Bond Street and parts of Regent Street and New Bond Street to streets in which there are already restrictions upon horsedrawn and haiul-propelled vehicles. With necessary exceptions, slow-moving traffic will be banned from these streets during busy hours.
