JUMP TO DEATH.
CRAZY U.S. CONGRESSMAN,
SEATTLE, August 9.
Congressman Marion Zioncheck "w as killed "when he jumped from a window in his fifth-floor office. Police state that Mr. Zioncheck's death has been definitely established as a case of suicide. Deceased's brother-in-law said he accompanied him to his office, where, without warning, he ran to the window and jumped. Mr. Zioncheck's wife was sitting in a motor car in front of the building and witnessed her husband's death. Earlier in the dav Mr. Zioncheck had been taken to a'doctor, who had pronounced his mental condition as serious and advised that he should be carefuhy watched. Following a fracas with his landlady, who was herself thrown out when attempting to evict li*i on May 30. and after he had threatened to blow up a hotel where he thought his wife N.as hiding from him, Mr. Zioncheck was fl-'-'-'-d i'i a mental hospital for cL~'.ion.
