AUCKLAND CLUB.
GROWTH IN MEMBERSHIP.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, this day. Recently arrived Aueklanders in Dunedin are increasing the membership of the Auckland Club with each succeeding function, and the fourth social season atracted an appreciable attendance of new members and visitors.'The host and hostess of the evening were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Griffin, and a very enjoyable programme of music, games and dancing was under capable direction of the club's master of ceremonies, Mr. J. Letcher, who drew all into happy participation. During the supper interval Mr. Griffin extended a hearty welcome to visitors and new members. In items of the club's news, he announced having bade farewell to a departing member. Mr. IT. G. Parsons, who had returned to the North Island. Other members to travel shortly were Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Falconer, who arc going to Australia to participate iti musical competitions there. Those present Included Mr. and Mrs. E.
