YOUTH FOR CHRIST.
AUCKLAND CAMPAIGN. Calls were made at homes in the city and suburbs yesterday by young men and women in connection with the Youth for Christ campaign, which will be conducted in the metropolitan area from next Sunday until August 30. The objects of the campaign were explained by the callers and where people were away from home leaflets were left. There were special meetings and services in many of the churches yesterday in preparation for the campaign, and at the Pitt Street Methodist Church last evening 14 young people were admitted to full membership of the church by the minister, the Rev. E. T. Olds.
