GOI<DEN DAWIf MINE. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") WAIHI, this day. Anticipating severe flooding, the superintendent of the Golden® Dawn battery at Owharoa, near Waihi, lilted all the motors when the heavy rain be~an. Although the water entered the battery to a depth of 3ft no damage was done, and the mine is now in full running order, after a delay of about 16 hours.
