DOMINION CONFERENCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The fifty-first annual conference of the New Zealand Educational Institute was opened to-day. The Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hißlop, in welcoming the delegates, said the matters to be considered i included the school entrance age, the proposed abandonment of the original three years' course in intermediate schools, the maintenance o" tiie salaries and positions of teachers and superannuation. Mr. N. T.
