TOBACCO MAGNATE.
1 SIR LOUIS BARON DEAD. (Received 2 p.m.) ! .> LOXDOX, May 6. The death is announced, at the age of 57, of Sir Louis Baron, chairman and managing director of Carreras, Ltd. Announcement of conferment of a baronetcy upon his father, Bernhard Baron, was made in 1930 a few days before the latter's death, in consequence 'of which, the son, Louis, was invested. 1 There is no heir.
