1000 NEW TOWNS.
Gigantic Nazi Building Plan Announced. SHIFTING THE POPULATION. (Received J0.30 a.m.) BERLIN, May 6. The Nazi building programme, including the foundation of 1000 new towns, was announced by Herr Gottfried Feder, Commissar of Internal Colonisation. The towns, with populations to 100,000 are expected to be completed within a generation. The intention is to transfer the inhabitants on the fringes of big cities to chosen areas suitable for the production of raw materials.
