PAKURANGA HUNT.
The Pakuranga Hunt met at Ranginui, near Papatoetoe, on Saturday, and au excellent day's sport was provided. Hounds were thrown off in Mr. Fox property, where a hare was soon found. After running in a circle, it went to ground in a drain pipe, but soon came out in the open again and was later killed on Mr. O. McCaw's property. Another hare provided a long run across the properties of Messrs. Fox Rogers, W. Orr and Wills McLaug«"n, doubling back on to Mr. Fox Rogers' property, where it was killed. Several other runs followed, resulting in six kills. After the hunt Mr. and Mrs. Wille McLaughlin entertained the field to afternoon tea at their home at Piihinui. Among the followers were: — Mr. H.
