NEW YORK, May 5. At Louisville to-day Mre. Dodge Sloane's Cavalcade won the 60th Kentucky Derby. Mr. Alfred Vanderbilt's Discovery was second, and Agrarian third. The time was 2.4 for the mile and a quarter. ' Sixty thousand people witnessed the race. The tra-Ji was slow owing to heavy BALTIMORE, May 5. Equipoise won the Dixie Handicap easily to-day. The purse was worth 4190 dollars, and brought-J> is total earnings- to .332,966 dollar**.
