ROYAL FASHIONS.
DUCHESS*AND HER DAUGHTERS
It is likely that in the near future tire Duchass of York and her two little girls will be seen dressed alike. The Duchess recently chose a cardigan and jumper in a pretty shade of coral [link with a faint blue line in it, made of silky - surfaced wool, and ordered replicas to be made for her daughter's. The Duchess has bought several of the new silk "checkplaid ,, scarves. One ha.i dark blue lines on a powder blue and white ground, while another is in bright rose over a dull brown and white check. The little Princesses' summer wardrobes are now being planned. They w'ill consist chiefly of cotton "tub" frocks with crisp full skirts, little buttoned bodices, square necks, and puff sleeves, They will be made of pique voile, and blue is the predominating colour. Princess Elizabeth is to have a dress patterned with blue cornflowers on a white ground, and among the Wedgwood, sky, and turquoise blue prints there is an old favourite, butcher blue cotton with a design of red and white stars. A charming cotton print chosen for Princess Margaret has a white ground dotted with black leaves and pink and blue starry flowers. i
