SPORTSMAN'S DEATH.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The death has occurred of Mr. W. P. McGirr, one of Wellington's best known cricketers of fifty years ago, and father of H. M. McGirr, the New Zealand cricket representative, and L. W. McGirr, New Zealand representative at association football.
