PRICES AT FRANKTON. FAT SHEEP SELL WELL. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held their usual weekly stock sale at Frankton saleyards on Tuesday as under: — Fat Sheep—A very moderate yarding. Last week's rise was well maintained, and in some cases prices were a shade higher. Prime wethers made to 13/; prime ewes, to 10/8; woolly fat lambs, to 13/; others, 10/ to 12/. Fat Cattle.—A moderate yarding with a weak demand. Prime ox beef sold at equal to 19/ per hundred. Light tat steers made to £o 10/; prime quality fat heirers, £5 18/; others, £5 to £5 8/; tat cows, £3 15/ to £4 17/6; aged tat cows, to £3 10/: boners, 25/ to 40/; runners, 35/. Store Cattle.—A small yarding. Boner cows made 23/ to 44/; 18-months steers, 20/ to 26/; bulls, £2 to £4 10/; dairy cows at profit made up to £8 10/; springing Jersev heifers, £5 5/ to £7 10/. Pigs—A small yarding ot fat pigs came forward with a full yarding of stores. Baconers showed an increase on last week's values. Top price was for a pen of heavv baconers which realised £-' W/. We quote medium baconers, £2 5/ to £2 9/; lighter ditto, £2 to £2 G/; porkers, £1 6/ to £1 12/; choppers £1 15/ to £2 10/; large stores, 16/ to 22/; slips, 9/ to 13/; weaners, 4/ to 6/6.
