SIGNS OF AUTUMN.
AN ORIGINAL COMPETITION. The changed weather of the last week or so has brought home to one and aii that my Lady Autumn is in supreme command. "Signs of Autumn" should not be hard for young artists to represent with pen or brush, and eight prizes of 2/6 will be awarded for the best and most original sketches received. This is a competition which, if imagination is allowed free reign, should bring forth anything but stereotyped ideas. Remember the idea counts just as much as the pen work.
