The council of the New Zealand Rugby League-'-— decided to make a gratuitovs issue of the 100 new rule books to- the Auckland, Canterbury, and West_ Coast Leagues, and 75 each to the Wellington, Northlp"']. South Auckland, and Otago Lea«nie«. \ .. The Wellington Show Association lias confirmed acceptance of' the council o tender for a five-year lease of it* stadium .oround.
An enthusiastic letter was received from the Northland- executive, and W,est Coast advised - they ' were taking steps to improve the game by amal;:«V rnatuig weaker clubs to further interest in the "i-npstitions.
