WELLINGTON, this day
Mr. James Churchouse, retiring president of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants, has been re-appointed on a national ballot under preferential voting. Mr. Mcllvride, the returning officer, reports the following voting oil the first count: Churchouse 3143, M. Connelly —479, S. Jsc'nofiekl SOS. The final result was: Churchouse 3671, Connelly 2811. Majority for Churchouse 860.
