ALLEGED CAR CONVERSION.
Arrested yesterday on a charge of unlawfully converting to his own use on February 11, a motor car valued at £250, belonging to Otto William Williams, Ronald Laurence Morrison, aged 27, a mechanic, appeared at the Police Court this morning. Accused, for whom Mr. Noble appeared, pleaded not guilty. Detective-Sergeant Kelly, who obtained a remand until next Wednesday, said Morrison was with a man who was before the Court yesterday. "My client says he is innocent of the charge," said Mr. Noble. Morrison was admitted to bail in one surety of £100.
