MID-WEEK COMPETITION
The fifth annual meeting of the business houses section of the A.F.A. was held in the Y.M.C.A., when it was decided to carry on the competition on the same lines as in former years. Mr. .T. Ball was elected as chairman, and Mr. L. J. Check secretary. It was resolved to commence the games on Tuesday, September 2, and that entries should close on August 25. The Grand TTn+Pl Football Club was granted permisSon to Play its fixtures at 3.30 p.m. The draw will be completed at the next meeting.
