SINGING BY CHILDREN.
MASSED CHOIRS' CONCERT.
"SENIOR INSPECTOR'S TRIBUTE,
High appreciation of the singing of the massel primary school choirs at the Town Hall last evening was expressed by the senior inspector of schools, Mr. J. Robertson, at. this morning's- meeting of the Auckland Education Boai - d.
"I am not referring to the volume, but chiefly to the quality of the singing of the children," declared Mr. Robertson. Auckland city, he said, was to be congratulated on having, so fine a performance put on by primary school children. The result showed what was possible by training and instruction.
Mr. A. Burns: It is pleasing to hear! the inspector's report. j It was decided that a letter of con-| gratillation and appreciation he sent toj the headmasters of the schools which j provided the concert.
