CAR DRIVER INJURED.
STRUCK BY RING. Mr, G. L. Robinson, driver of an Aard Service car, was badly hurt through a loose ring flying off the wheel as he ■ was inflating a tyre at the Beach Road service station to day. After changing the tyre, Mr. Robinson had apparently omitted to secure the ring round the rim, and the pressure of the tyre hurled it off. , It struck him on the forehead, inflicting a deep cut, and he was taken to the Auckland Hospital in an unconscious condition. He lives at Helensville.
