CAUSE OF STRAIN.
ATHLETES AND PSYCHOLOGY. ' I (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, February 15. In connection with the experiment of having ■ one of his arteries removed recently made by Dr. Adophe Abrahams, of Westminster Hospital, his brother, H. M. Abrahams, the' famous athlete, expresses the opinion that the real danger in the strenuous life of athletic competition is psychological in effect. "When you go in for four or five years of competitions of one kind and another you are in the public eye and .always wondering whether vou are going, to, beat the other fellow. "That," he says, "Is where the strain comes in."
