EFFECT OF SHORT SKIRTS.
In assessing claims for damages the legal -world will have to study women's fashions, if reliance is to be placed on the evidence of a medical man who was a witness in a Supreme Court case at Wellington, in which o woman claimed damages arising out of a motor collision. The witness detailed the'injuries to the plaintiff, and concluded: '"There is a nasty scar on her calf which is a thing to take into consideration in these days of short skirts which reach only to the knee."
