CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual general meeting of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce is to be held on Thursday next immediately after the usual monthly luncheon. An address will be delivered by the president, Mr. A. tx. Lunn, after which the usual elections will tslcc placc. 1 The annual -report submitted by the council demonstrates that the. year has been one of marked activity, and the trend of the chamber's policy and actions is The present membership stands at 600. which is seven less than on January 1, 1927, but 12 more than on January 1, 1826.' The finances are considered as satisfactory, the excess of income over expenditure being £462 for the 1 year.
