Arikiwai, Starfliglit and Rapier were associated, over seven furlongs, which neeupicd 1.30 2-5. Arikiwai wa = in front all the way and beat the other pair nicely, registering a very attractive gallop which gained him admirers. Sudden Storm ran six furlongs, taking 1.3 for the last five furlongs without being ridden out. She is very well. First Sight covered six furlongs in 1.15 4-5. It was a smart performance, as he went off slowly. Amourette was responsible for a brilliant effort over five furlongs. She beat Fair Exchange and Crossbow very easily, registering 1.2. Amourette shapes like showing up in the two-vear-old events. Full Feather had Wild* Work as mate in a five furlong spin, run in 1.1 4-o. Both went very well. Magna Cliarta went freely over six furlongs, doing the last five in 1.". Assurance took 1.5 2-5 for five furlongs, but he was going very easily. Luminant and Amor were together all through a working gallop over seven furlongs on the course proper. Stormy and Zaragoza occupied 1 IS for six furlongs. Stormy was going very easily. Front Rank held Quarterdeck comfortably in a seven furlong spin, run in 1.30 1-5. Front Rank went well. Countersign beat Satrap over a mile in 1.43 1-5. It was a useful effort on llie part of both horses. Greyfinch .beat Lancer over six furlongs in 1.18. Oplifr, Rascal and Moratorium started off for a six furlong spin. Moratorium was beaten off, while Ophir was a little better than Rascal at the end of the journey, which occupied 1.17 3-5. No Response ran six furlongs in 1.20. Sea Gay started with licr, but was beaten off. Merivale sprinted down the straight on the coursc proper. Sir Roy and Margaret Birney occupied 1.17 4-5 for six furlongs. Sir Roy having a slight advantage, at the finish. Thorndale and Rina Mangu were companions in a working gallop over six furlongs. Thorndale looks in great order. Scoff, with Sj»ode as mate for the last half-mile, ran six furlongs oil the course proper in 1.17 3-5. Cnidc covered six furlongs on the coursc proj»er in 1.16 1-5. and did it well. Starshooter occupied 1.4 for five furlongs on the coursc proper.
