FIJI IN AUCKLAND.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) .SUVA, March 24. A movement is on foot to get Fiji to be represented at the big show, which opens in Auckland in June. The idea meets with favourable acceptance among many of the residents, and the Government has been asked to take steps to have the Colony represented. It is understood that the Show Committee is ready to offer free space for a Fiji exhibit, and there can be no doubt but that such an effort would be a splendid advertisement for the Colony at a time when she wants plenty of publicity. The cost would be trifling and the benefits more than worth while. The exhibit of butter from Fiji alone would surprise people overseas, who have not in the past associated Fiji with butler production.
