BONUS OF £300 TO PLAYERS. MELBOURNE, January 4. It was announced at a meeting of the ! Cricket Board of Cc«trol that the profit* of the tour of the Australian team in 8 Britain amounted to £17.700. It was 1 decided to pay a bonus of £.100 to Mr. 5 Sydnrv Smith and to each member of ? the team, and £100 to Mr. Ferguson, the " scorer. Tho remaining £10.000 will be ! equally distributed among the six Statue represented on the Board of Control. — 1 (A. and N.Z. f able, i MELBOURNE, this day.
