The Richardson steamer Mako, which has been laid np at Auckland over Christmas, la being recommissioned and will load for the Bast Coast bays, Napier and Wairoa on IMonday and Tuesday next. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Waimate is due at Wellington *o-day from Napier for completion of her loading. She will sail on Tuesday or Wednesday next for London, via Panama and Newport News. ISie <Wlngatni, with general cargo and passengers' luggage from the Ruahlne. is due at Auckland to-morrow morning. She left Gisborne at 8 p.m. yesterday. After discharge she will load for Wellington. 'Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamam, Dunedin and IBluff, and saill on Tuesday next on the return journey. The auxiliary schooner Isabella de iFralne has keen delayed in loading during lepalrs to a propeller which was damaged on -ier last trip ifrom Tauranga. The damage rwas caused by striking a log. Tlie Omana sadled from Auckland last night iwith albont 2,000,000 ft of timber for **«n*y. 780,000 ft of this was loaded at Auckland and the balance at the Kaipara. CANADIAN PLANTER. Commencing at Southern ports the Canadian Planter will load cargo for 'Boston, New York, and Halifax towards the end of this month. She will complete at Auckland about 'February 12. MABENO SAILED. The Maheno sailed for Sydney last night with passengers and general cargo. She iwlH leave Sydney on January 11 for Wellington, where she is due on the loth, and •will make the return trip to Sydney on January IS. OTABAMA COMPLETING. The Otarama is due at Wellington to-day to continue loading, and will proceed from there to Plcton to fill up, sailing finally from that port for Liverpool and Manchester on January 10. IPHOSPIHiATEIS FOR SOUTH. One of tile latest charters includes the steamer Wailiora to load phosphates at (Nauru Island the middle of this month for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. Six thousand tons will he available for this cargo. and it is expected that the steamer will gommence discharge in the South early in ABAWA NEXT WEEK. L. D. Nathan and Co., Ltd., advise that the 8.8. and A. liner Arawa is due at Wellington on Tuesday next, January 10, from Southampton.
