A NARROW ESCAPE.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. Tlie reported loss of life at Wairua Bridge, Te Toki, previously wired, is now discovered to be erroneous. A man named Foulis had a narrow escape, his horse being drowned and trap swept a V*\ V ut / ifn'is struggled to safety.
