ACTION IN CHRISTCHURCH.
SUPPLIES THROUGH COUNCIL. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) OHRISTCHURCH, Friday. The Coal Committee of the Christchurch City Council has arranged with Greymouth for the supply of 600 tons of coal, which will get there at the end «f next week, and has arranged also for this tonnage to come every week The,' committee intends to distribute this to retailers at a price that will give them reasonable profit, but if retailers will not take it the coal will be distributed directly by fche council to householders.
