CORNER FOR SOLDIERS. '£920; 80 chain? secondary drives. '.Cl.tiOO: 2,45f> roods, preparing, sowing, and planting burial and ornamental areas. £2.450. The sub-soil drainage ha estimated to oost £2.300. but to get a correct estimate he would have to plan out the full scheme of drainage. Tic considered that the work of laying out the cemetery would take at least two years. The Public Services Committee recommended the Engineer to proceed to the extent of £300. This was agreed to by the Conncil.
