Hampsou (president of the local club) thanked, the vlwitore for coming to play on «uch poor courts, and especially Mr F.;Ohleon for the assistance he bad given to the secretary (Mr D. JerviH) in managing, the tournament. The final of the men's cbamplon doubles was won b.r Ollivler and Sheppard (Christchtireb), who defeated Bray and Sinclair (Dunedln). Miss l\ Cavipbell -won the ladles* champion singles for the seventeenth time in 18 years. She did, not compete in 1013. Ollivler played a splendid game .in the semi-final of the championship .singles against C. Bray, and showed some of bis best form, lie .will now be matched against Pearse In the final.
