As an indication of the growing popularity of the method of purchasing wool in New Zealand, the figures supplied by Mr Gorham, secretary of the Wool-brokers' Association, are very striking. There were four salies in Wellington this season, 55,758 bales being handled, a-n increase of nearly 13,000 bales compared with the previous season's total, whlen five sales took place.
