A HASTY MARRIAGE.

■■ m QUARRELLED AT THE REGISTRY OFFICE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, this day. In the Supreme Court to-day a divorce case was heard, Victor Fiori v. Nora Annie Fiori and George Bows, of Auckland, co-respondent. Evidence was given that the parties were employed in a local hotel, and had known each other a fortnight when they were married in the Registry Office. Then they immediately quarrelled, separated, and had not seen each other since. Respondent made certain admissions by affidavit, but the judge required evidence, and allowed'the matter to stand over. Evidence is to be taken at Auckland.
