A CLEVER RUSE.
BIG CHEQUE CASHED TWICE. (Received 11.45 a.m.) ■ ROME, March 8. Two persons simultaneously cashed cheques for £12,000 sterling, each at a bank in Genoa. It was immediately discovered that the cheques were exactly similar, and the band doors were closed. The forgers escaped.
