BREAKING OF THE DROUGHT.
RAINS IN NEW SOUTH WAXES. (Received 10.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Excepting the north-eastern corner, useful rains have fallen throughout the State, relieving the situation, which in many districts, particularly in the South Coast dairying area, had become serious. With the rain came a change from sultry to winter conditions.
