■' PARIS, March 7. The newspaper "Humanitc" alleges that during the French operations in Morocco General Franchet Despery ordered a surgeon-major to "finish the wrtuidfcd" because they Retarded progress. The surgeon refused, whereupon Despery abandoned the wounded to the care' of ten Alpine Chasseurs, and all were, murdered by Moors. General Lyantey imprisoned Despery for thirty days, and the latter lias -oeen summoned to Paris to explain.
