WASHINGTON'S RAILWAY STATION DE LUXE
Our illustration shows something like a railway waiting hall. This elaborate waiting hall of the Union Depot at Washington is one of the most wonderful features of the new station, and is only used to its full capacity on such an occasion as Inauguration Day this week, when it accommodates great crowds from every city in the Union. Each of the seats has been installed with a magnaphone, or train announcer. The place is beautifully tiled and heated with radiator system, and there are shops whereat the waiting passengers can purchase almost anything and get served with anything they may desire in the way of food. The huge room is decorated with flowers, and, judging by its size, there is no such thing known as a crush, plenty of room Being afforded to move about under the most trying weather conditions.
