CLUB-SWINGING RECORD.
NAPIER, this day.
Mr. T. H. Bax, who set out at 9.2 on Thursday night to break the world's clubswinging record of 40hrs. lOmin., accomplished tbe task at 1.13 this afternoon,, and is still swinging. Bax experienced great difficulty in keeping awake early this morning, but freshened up as the day advanced, and hopes to add several hours to the record.
