At a sitting of the Court yesterday His Honor Mr .Justice Edwards granted an order to sell real estate of the late Thomas Corbett (Mr Smith, solicitor). His Honor also granted a summons for an order of adjudication as bankrupt in the estate of "Jannet Miisgrove (Mr Campbell). On the motion of Mr Mahony, probate of the will of John Covrigan, and letters of administration jn the estates of Thomas Organ and Jessie Currie, deceased, were granted. The formal opening of the yachting season in Auckland takes place this afternoon, when there will be a display of yachts in the harbour. The boats assemble off the Queen street wharf; at three o'clock, and proceed up the harbour in line astern, and then return in line abreast to the starting point. Hutchison, 5.M.,. yesterddy; charged with omitting to account for moneys received by him on behalf of the Council. There were six informations, but three were dismissed. The evidence for the prosecution, previously published, was that Godfrey received money, from kauri gum diggers for their' licenses, but did not pay it to the County treasurer. Budd, of the Waihi Company's smelting staff, whilst riding on a .bullion truck, jumped off to go to'a head of a horse which had become restive, and tripped over the brake and fell. His right foot caught on the rear wheel, which passed over it, inflicting severe bruises to the foot and injuring the tendons. Mrs J. Musgrave, who formerly carried on a grocery business in Khyber Pass, has been adjudicated a bankrupt upon a creditor's petition. The first meeting of creditors will be held on Friday next. The wharf at Graham's Beach, Awitu, has been completed to a length of 160 ft. at a cost of £ 100.
