Owing to the excessive rainfall the cellar of the Rob Roy Hotel is flooded, and Meyers' farm. near YValmsley's Creek, is for the most part, submerged. Such continuous rain has never heen experienced here before. WAITEKAURI, this day.
It has heen raining heavily for the past four days. The creeks are o-er-ilooding. Several large road slips have occurred at Golden Cross, and Alpharoad is completely blocked. i __ _
