At Te Awamutu on Wednesday last, one, M&ihwaring, sued _akumubu te Katipo for £3, the -value of three pigs, alleged to have been taken from plaintiff, and Which it was alleged the defendant and another native had been caught in the abbot killing and singeing, For the defence an alibi was set up, bub Waa toot proved, and judgment wenb for the plaintiff for £2, and costs £3 17b 6d. Mr Gresham appeared for_ the plaintiff, and Mr CtuieM shank for defendant.
