Christchurch, this day. A brass nnd Military Band Association of New Zealand has been successfully started. The following bands have joined :—Garrison, Sydenham, Addington, Palace Rink, Stanmore Bands, Christchurch ; Naval and Garrison, Oamaru; Garrison and City Band, Invercargill ; Ordnance, Kaikorai; Engineers and Garrison, Dunedin ; Feilding bands, Hastings (Hawke's Bay) ; Garrison, Wellington ; Impey's Auckland; Garrison, Lyttelton. Oshor enbries are expocted from tho North Island.
